- Flexible Transportation
Corrugated sidewall conveyor belt can convey all kinds of bulk materials such as coal, ore, sand, fertilizer and grain in the horizontal, oblique, vertical or different angle directions. The granularity of materials can be from very small size to 400mm large particle size and the transportation volume is from 1 cubic meter / hour to 6000 cubic meters / hour.
- High Tensile Strength
Corrugated sidewall conveyor belt has a very strong tensile strength and wear resistance. In order to meet the requirement of angular direction change, this type of belts must have flexibility in vertical direction and a certain degree of rigidity in horizontal direction. The base band of Huacheng corrugated sidewall conveyor belt has lateral rigidity and special structure which solved the collapse problem of large sized belts in the return process.
- Solid Structure
a.The base band are composed of four parts: top covering rubber, bottom covering rubber, belt carcass and lateral rigidity layer. The thickness of top covering rubber is 3-6mm, the bottom covering rubber is 1.5-4.5mm. The carcass bears the tension. According to customer needs, the carcass materials can be cotton canvas (CC), nylon canvas (NN), polyester canvas (EP) or steel cord (ST). In order to increase the lateral rigidity of the base band, we add a special reinforced layer to the belt core which is called lateral rigidity layer.
b.The cleat is made of fiber-reinforced composites which has high stiffness and impact resistance to avoid deformation when the cleat is given a force. In the heavy wear and tear conditions, for easy maintenance, we can use embedded cleats such as TS and TCS type. T and TS cleat are normally used for conveyors with obliquity below 40 degrees, while C, TC and TCS are for conveyors with obliquity over 40 degrees. The cleat should be corresponding with the wave crest of the sidewall to prevent the material leakage and unloading dead angle. The sidewall, cleat and base band of Huacheng corrugated sidewall conveyor belt are spliced by second low-temperature hot vulcanization which gives high adhesive strength and smooth surface and prevent delamination. The cleat and sidewall are joint with bolts to increase the rigidity and performance and solves the material leakage problem.
